Black Travel Film Festival at Black Travel Summit

The Black Travel Film Festival is a pioneering event dedicated to amplifying the voices and perspectives of Black travel creators and visionaries. Committed to showcasing stories from the African diaspora that have often been overlooked or marginalized, this festival, held on October 10, 2024, in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, celebrates the richness, diversity, and resilience of Black travel culture. Through captivating films, documentaries, and narratives, the festival highlights destinations, experiences, unsung heroes, and journeys that reflect the unique lens of Black storytellers. From exploring heritage sites to re-discovering important figures, the festival aims to redefine the narrative of travel by centering on the stories and experiences of the Black community. By providing a space for these voices to be heard and celebrated, the Black Travel Film Festival is a vital platform for fostering connection, understanding, and representation within the travel industry.
