Signature Travel Network is searching for a full-time, experienced, and talented Creative Director to join our Marketing team in our El Segundo, CA office (open to remote for the right candidate). The ideal candidate is responsible for leading a creative team comprised of talented designers across multi-channels. Must be a self-starter with a dedication to collaboration and a vision for creative problem-solving. Proven success in both print and digital for bringing stories and creative content to life is critical for the role as well as the ability to develop and articulate creative solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Salary commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities for the Creative Director:

  • Lead a creative team and design creative strategies

*Inspire a culture of creativity and innovation among the team to solve for business opportunities and challenges.
* Align team to be agile to maximize creativity as efficiently as possible.
*Identify professional growth development opportunities for the team.

  • Design creative products that are consistent, forward-thinking, and highly competitive
  • Stay abreast of current trends, current events, and evolving technology
  • Create and maintain all supplemental materials that support efficient and ever-evolving production processes, such as an updated visual style guide or manual.

Print Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Marketing Director, Marketing Content Coordinator and Designers to ensure that art and layout design are appropriate for content within the organization’s core publications and smaller direct mail initiatives.
  • Manage production of finalized pages to export, send and approve pages with printer
  • Work directly with printer to ensure accuracy and quality standards are achieved for all print initiatives (including, but not limited to publications, direct mail and sales documents).

Digital Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with eMarketing Manager, Marketing Content Coordinator and Designers to ensure design consistencies across digital channels, such as digital publications, email campaigns and microsites.
  • Understand how to leverage insights about audience segments and digital channels to develop creative solutions to increase engagement.


  • Bachelor’s degree/BFA in Design/Visual Communications, Marketing, Graphic Design, or similar
  • Five years as a Creative Director or in a creative direction role (art, design, copy, strategy) managing 4 or more direct reports.
  • Experience in the travel industry is not required but is a big plus.
  • Familiarity with Asana (or similar work management tools)
  • Experience in leveraging metrics to optimize campaign effectiveness
  • Experience in creating integrated campaigns, managing and producing “multi-media creative.”
  • Proven knowledge of and experience with Mac OS platform, MS Office Suite, and Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
  • The ideal candidate must have excellent time, project management, and planning skills; must be a taskmaster for coordinating multiple workflows and meeting deadlines.
  • Knowledge of responsive design, HTML, WordPress, and other digital technologies.
  • Knowledge of print and web design capabilities and requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to be an innovative thinker, translating creative strategy into tactical action plans and deliverables.
  • Demonstrated sound judgment and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Ideal candidates will communicate clearly, collaborate and yield consensus with teams at all levels of the organization.
